The Hidden Meadow Ranch Riding Club (HMHRC) is open to all Hidden Meadow independent riders. Independent riders (IRs) are confident riders who are able to go out to the pasture and catch and halter a horse, tack it up, and mount unattended. An HMH IR rider canters confidently and keeps his/her seat over a jump. IRs have demonstrated common sense in unexpected situations, and have consistently shown responsibility about closing gates and taking care of their horses after a ride. IRs may schedule independent riding times, and come to the ranch to ride on their own (with an IR buddy).
Independent riders who would like to be able to ride at least twice a month are encouraged to become members of the Hidden Meadow Ranch Riding Club. Monthly Club membership costs less than two independent rides a month. Club members have first priority to the horse of their choice, may have a scheduled riding slot on the calendar, and have full use of the ranch clubroom.
